...where the stage crew catches a quick smoke while the actors go on. While not technically a part of project teams, the Operations Group provides all the necessary "behind-the-scenes" administrative and business support to vivid, allowing our productions to move along as planned.

Team roles:

Director of Business Operations
Faster than an Excel spreadsheet! More powerful than an assets database! Able to dodge creditors with a single bound out the back door! Look! Over in the operations pod! It's a banker- it's a repo man- no, it's the Director of Business Operations , and he's here to keep track of all the lovely monetary things that flow in and out our doors. His many spine-tingling duties include: managing the entire accounting system, developing perational budgets, and creating really complicated-looking cash flow projection reports to make the rest of us feel good.

Accounting Coordinator (Meredith Texada)
What Arthur was to The Tick, the Accounting Coordinator is to the Controller (namely, she provides bookkeeping, report preparation, payroll, and AR/AP assistance, and occasionally rescues him from thieving bands of robo-Santas and other arch-criminals he's foolishly pursued).

Human Resource Manager (Alisa Schulman)
Manages all HR functions at camp vivid, from dispensing care packages to making sure we're all wearing bug repellent. She also oversees and coordinates recruiting, and implements employee programs and perks to insure that vivid is a great place to work.

Business Communications Epicenter (Victoria Vitalie)
A shared role with Business Strategy, the BCE divvies her time between tending to new business prospects and offering support to the management team. She also holds the coveted title of Chief Party Promoter.

Receptionist (Rachel Starbuck)
Fielding phone calls, distributing mail and faxes, greeting visitors, and patiently reminding us how to retrieve our voicemail messages are among the receptionist's responsibilities. She also provides additional administrative and clerical support to the Operations Group, and tracks our every move through her highly sophisticated "sign-out sheet" technology.

Office Coordinator (Skip "I can get it for you wholsesale" Emerson)
Need a case of fine-point Uniball pens ASAP, no questions asked? Skip's your man. The OC is vivid's own personal shopper and overlord of the time-space continuum, keeping us awash in a sea of office supplies, breathable air, and groovy inflatable furniture. He's also the lucky leader of vBS (vivid Beautification Society), overseeing all design/remodeling/care and maintenance of our office.
