Masters of the Universe
Frequently leaving their perch
high atop vivid's Mt. Olympus to assume mortal form and
walk among us, our resident gods and goddesses are a benevolent
crew. They oversee the fundamental workings of the company, and
provide for us as surely as Apollo will drive his chariot across
the sky tomorrow. Shunning the immodesty typical of most immortals,
they've all refused to allow us to construct altars in front
of their desks (though they are known to accept the occasional
sacrificial engineer).
Team roles:
CEO (Chief Executive Officer) (Craig Wingate)
The big kahuna. El Presidente. He Who Charts Our Course. The
CEO is the captain of the ship, the visionary who spies land
on the horizon while the rest of us are nervously watching for
sharks in the immediate vicinity. His two primary responsibilities
are driving the strategic vision and growth of vivid and
overseeing the rest of the managers in ensuring our smooth and
profitable operation.
CCO (Chief Creative Officer) (Nathan Shedroff)
In addition to his responsibilities to the Experience Group,
the CCO is the guardian angel and chief contributor to vivid's
overall creative process, as well as the liaision between the
Experience Group and the Management Group. He tends to vivid's
brand and identity much like a master gardener raising heirloom
flora.
Senior VP, Business Development (Sarah Cooper)
Forging strategic relationships with clients and overseeing all
matters related to new business, the VP of BizDev is our very
own fortune-telling watcher of the skies. So enraptured are we
with Madame Cooper's amazing powers of prognostication that we've
entrusted her to bring in only the most interesting, innovative,
and profitable projects.
Senior VP of Engineering ( Dave Mitchellhill)
Practically indistinguishable from a CTO to the untrained eye,
the SVPoE is in actuality a chameleon-like creature who has mastered
the art of protective camouflage. Sit him down at a conference
table and he'll charm corporate clients with his refined manners
and technical savoir-faire. But release him in the wilds of the
engineering department and he'll transform into the proverbial
king of the jungle, prowling about the territory and leading
the pack on hunting expeditions to sate their voracious appetites
for technology.
Corporate Affairs (Ken Fromm)
At vivid, 'corporate affairs' covers everything from the
dirty work of contract negotiation to the decidedly more enjoyable
(though not necessarily cleaner) task of playing official company
bartender.
