Centro (as it is known by locals) is THE South Park hang-out for the multimedia in-crowd. In fact, it is probably the de facto hub at the center of Multimedia Gulch (well, after our building, of course). It has some of the best coffee in the neighborhood and serves fresh orange juice, marvelous (if pricey) sandwiches, and great salads and soups (try the apple-curry-potato and tomato-lentil). We suggest you pick up a latte and sweet of your choice (try the yummy scones) and if you can't snag a table outside, head for a park bench or the swingset in the park across the street.
We can vouch for the hot oatmeal in the morning and tuna fish sandwiches at lunch. Also, the bread salad is excellent. And nothing picks Marsha up faster from those 4 o'clock doldrums than one of their delicious peanut butter cookies. Mm-mmm!
Sit inside and you'll be privy to constant chatter of the latest goings-on in the area's multimedia studios and magazines (there are dozens of both in the area). It is the best place to overhear gossip, but not the best to discuss confidential company business.
