Daily Media and Marketing Report

The Vivid Travel Network comes into tighter focus this week with release of its first set of tools for developing travel-related Web sites. The product includes 18 templates for the creation of tourism sites, including interactive components.
Shipment of VTN tools advances vivid studios strategy to build a cooperative of local content developers around the world. The San Francisco-based design studio introduced VTN at Spring Internet World '96 in April with the idea that local entrepreneurs will build travel and tourism Web sites for regional markets. VTN will support and promote the local tourism sites in exchange for advertising space on the local sites.
vivid said the initial version of its toolkit can be used to create Web pages in 25 languages. Additional information about VTN is accessed via http://travel.vivid.com.
