Covering the Convergence of Technology and Learning

Educational software publisher Computer Curriculum Corporation (Sunnyvale, CA) launched a Web page that serves as the center for virtual field trips and other collaborative learning projects for students in the classroom and at home. Students can build their own Web page in various SuccessMaker Online projects, which require students to collect information from the Web and compile their findings, or post computer art work in the Gallery section. Access to the so-called CCCnet site at http://www.cccnet.com initially will be free but later will be subscription-based. CCCnet was produced in conjunction with vivid studios (San Francisco).
