January 01, 1999
American Century launches one of most extensive one-to-one relationship
sites for its mutual fund and investment business. With vivid's
help, this site merges a Web front-end to existing legacy databases
and backend while debuting a new information architecture and
a new appearance. vivid is working closely with American
Century to expand the site and help it manage its brand online.
February 26, 1999
Tired of the rampant individualism expressed in vividians' wardrobes,
today is declared an official "Day of Uniformity".
Closeted uniform fetishists are invited to wear their perma-pressed
best to the office. The results,
as you can see, are quite successful (though one would be hard
pressed to guess precisely what line of business we're in).
March 12, 1999
The new vivid site launches! Glasses are raised, a great
whooping cheer is heard, and the team immediately excuses itself
for a 2-week nap.
March 20, 1999
To celebrate the launch of our new site and the hoopla surrounding
the Webby Awards, vivid hosts a party at Rococo Showplace.
Nearly 200 folks turn out to eat, drink, dance, schmooze, and
peer into their futures (courtesy of a Tarot card reader and

April 01, 1999
In the wake of the success of other online auctions, vivid
unveils its new website.
August 06, 1999
A major milestone in vivid history: we're going to have
a baby!!! (Um, not all of us- just Director of Communications
Anita Corona Fox. But, seeing as this will be the first vividian
born in captivity, the rest of us are all really excited!) Little
baby V isn't due til January, but you can share in the joy right here thanks to the magic
of the web!
