Resident yo-yo wizard and aspiring brewmeister, Matt brought his engineering skills to vivid in October 1998 after completing his B.S. in Computer Science at Michigan State University. While in school, Matt studied Software Engineering and developed the National Association of College & University Food Services web site, an 800+ page source of news and information for the college food service industry. Matt also helped to architect the JTool Vehicle Monitoring System, an application used to monitor and analyze system data on semi-trucks, for Eaton Corporation.

Matt joined vivid out of his love for a challenge and a desire to work with some of the most talented people in the industry. Matt specializes in software engineering and plans to keep vivid pointed down the path to well-specified systems and application development. While not at work, he enjoys crafting new and interesting homebrews and snowboarding in the Sierras.
