After living most of his early life offline, Justin was first introduced and connected to the wonderful world of the Web at the University of Pennsylvania. Getting online enabled Justin to create his first webpage, which was simply a public view into his personal life. The webpage seemed to be a success after it manifested a few cyber-romances over e-mail (no, they didn't work out), a few interviews for jobs and eventually employment.

Drawn to San Francisco by all the geeks wearing dark rimmed glasses and programming, Justin immediately found his niche scripting HTML and using various tools to dynamically deliver it. After swinging around the downtown San Francisco job scene, first at PC World and then at Preview Travel, Justin eventually ended up at vivid, where he felt that his goals to create structure and profound meaning in the vast information ocean called the Internet would be paralleled.

When Justin isn't stripping apart Photoshop files and creating apache, he enjoys skiing, biking, and e.e. cummings among other things.
