Alisa Schulman Human Resource Manager Alisa manages the HR function down at the Circle-V Ranch. Her formal education includes an undergraduate degree in psychology from UC Berkeley, graduate liberal studies at Mills College in Oakland, and a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Golden Gate University. Her informal education has been much too embarrassing to detail here. Before having the good fate to find vivid studios, Alisa managed the business operations of BMUG, which was, in its heyday, the world's largest Macintosh computer users group. At vivid she oversees many of the the day-to-day operational responsibilities in our growing compound, serves as a keeper of the culture, acts as counsel to all who need her, and reads a damn lot of resumes. Occasionally, her days are brightened with email from confused yet eager job applicants who mistakenly contact the wrong "vivid." Alisa
is a lifelong music fiend and radiohead, and spends much of her non-vivid
time causing her own hearing loss and enhancing her cerebral database
of useless pop trivia. Her labor of love is radio station KALX, where
she programs music, reviews records, trains DJs, does production work,
and sits on the program director committee. She has hosted, engineered,
and programmed a weekly music radio show on KALX for the past 16 years,
and for 10 years was also a host and engineer for Maximum Rock'n'Roll,
an internationally syndicated radio program. Meet the rest
of us. Home |
