Aaron Puritz
Senior Visual Designer

Aaron's life began in March of 1996 when he escaped from New Jersey and declared himself a native San Franciscan. His defining moment was in 1998 when he was voted "San Francisco's Most Negligible Bachelor."

In his previous life, Aaron studied Fine Art at the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from Rutgers University in 1995.

Armed with only his wits and a dull pencil, Aaron began his career designing corporate communications and user interfaces for a variety of financial clients including Dow Jones & Co., Wells Fargo, Norwest Bank, Charles Schwab and Visa.

At vivid, Aaron is committed to developing intuitive user interfaces. He believes that all of the beauty and subtlety of classic typography can be expressed on the web as well as it can be on paper.

Wary of technology, he carves all of his own HTML from a single piece of driftwood with just his fingernails.
