Dave Mitchelhill
Senior VP of Engineering

Dave started out on the west coast of Ireland before joining the Irish diaspora. Educated in an English public school, which means expensive and private, Dave studied at the Spanish University of Valladolid, high in the mountains of Old Castille, where he learnt to ski, shoot rabid dogs and dance flamenco. He also found time to get a double major in Philosophy and Psychology, which means he does not know the meaning of life but understands why.

Since then Dave has wandered the world collecting anecdotes, years and languages. He has worked in Hong Kong, Belize, Great Britain, Switzerland, France, Germany and Luxembourg. For many years he was involved in the shipping industry, which taught him to face downwind when feeling seasick.

Until 1995, Dave was based in Luxembourg and was involved in the Web since the very first Mosaic browser. Not unnaturally in a country of 400,000 people and 300 banks, based on the banks of the Moselle, he was involved in banking software, luxembourgish wines and the best beer in Europe.

'When his company in Europe was purchased by an American conglomerate, he immediately retaliated by coming to the United States and trying to learn how to surf, skateboard and eat a burger without ruining his expensive french shirts. He sometimes becomes homesick for the 'Emerald Isle' but he cures it by standing in the rain, drinking warm beer and yelling 'Erin Go Bragh'.

In the few hours outside work, Dave plays any instrument that has a keyboard, paints and rides horses. However his favorite pastime is cooking, he has a 'Cordon Bleu', just in case this 'Internet thing' doesn't last.

Meet the rest of us.
