Upon graduating San Francisco State University's cinema program, Johanna realized that while she was fully prepared to make movies, she wasn't prepared to starve while doing so. Taking stock of skills honed by handling production crews and still desiring the company of creative people, Johanna joined the web industry.

Johanna quickly became addicted to the dynamic and friendly atmosphere accompanying the companies of San Francisco's multimedia gulch. Her film-school bred masochism and compulsive urge to bring order out of chaos has held her in good stead. During the past two years, she has worked with several local web companies, including goodcompany.com and Organic Online. As a recent arrival at vivid, Johanna believes she has found a satisfying mix of dedication and joie de vivre.

Johanna's hobbies include screenwriting, sewing, and playing games too silly to describe in a serious biography.
