Karena joined vivid as a Web Analyst in September 1999. She works with Tom on competitive analysis, market research, and the weekly market intelligence report and she couldn't be happier.

Before she joined vivid, Karena was a research analyst in Andersen Consulting's Electronics and High Tech market unit. She realized that she had to end her three-year stint in IT consulting when she found herself trying to explain ERP, CRM, and ASPs to her friends and family.

Karena received her B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley in 1996 and has been faithfully sending the majority of her income to Sallie Mae ever since. When she has a moment to spare, Karena and her fiancé can be found at Giants games, museums, eating sushi, or reading at home.
