Luke grew up in the countryside of Minnesota. He graduated from Hamline University with a BA in Psychology and began working with autistic individuals right out of school. His position as a Program Coordinator helped him further develop his intuitive sense of human interaction and communication, in addition to project management skills. While he enjoyed the challenges and rewards his work provided, he felt the need to pursue his interest in music.

This pursuit led him to the realm of underground music. He fell in love with the local scene and decided that he wanted to create his own music entertainment venues. He started HUSH Productions and produced a highly successful series of underground dance events throughout the following year.

Though reveling in the flyboy lifestyle of a Promoter/DJ, Luke decided it was time to explore a new area. San Francisco, and its' warm weather and culture, became the chosen destination.

While still running HUSH Productions part time, he worked in marketing and sales for Miller/Freeman's web magazines. The intensely interactive world of multimedia sparked his interest, and he moved into a desktop publishing and customer service position at R.R. Donnelley & Sons. Building on his growing experience, Luke followed up on some rumors of a magical multimedia land South of Market. This brought him to vivid's door, where he deftly manages clients and schedules.

When not at vivid, Luke can be found snowboarding at Lake Tahoe, providing an atmospheric fusion of down tempo beats, or savoring a smooth martini in jazzy locales throughout the city.
