Michelle has worked at vivid in Marketing, Business Development, and Production since 1995. She has built strategic relationships with a number of web companies and developed a network of company contacts for referrals and outsourcing. She's also written proposals and scoped web development projects for over 100 companies including Kodak, Encyclopedia Brittannica, Oracle, Times Mirror, Discover Brokerage Direct, Sun Microsystems, IDV Wines, and PG&E. Working closely with the engineering and experience departments, she puts together accurate project plans including feature lists, budgets, and schedules based on client requirements. As a producer, she has managed web development projects for Bank of America, Advent Software, and Arthur Andersen.

Michelle has travelled all over the world and plans to experience the y2k problem while scuba diving in Australia. Her favorite possessions are her 3,000-plus books, the outcome of a long career in the book industry managing stores and buying for consumers as well as herself. Her plan to put her library online is perpetually in the works. Michelle received her degree in Creative Writing and Technical and Professional Editing and is responsible for writing and editing many vivid documents.
