Skip Emerson
Office Manager

Three years after landing in San Francisco, Skip has finally found his niche. His long, sordid background in theatre (along with occasional forays into the world of corporate banking) has prepared him for what will serve as his ultimate stage set: vivid's office, which he solemnly swears to keep attractive, usable, and filled with Aeron chairs.

Skip graduated in 1985 with an MFA in Acting, and quickly did what all fine actors do: he became a waiter. After various jobs in and out of the theatre, he and a friend founded their own theatre company (figuring it was best way to get the meaty roles): Vintage Repertory, so named for the fine vintage consumed while searching for a name. This all took place against another city by the bay: Portland, Maine. Ten years and harsh, cold winters later, Skip decided the time had come to Go West, so he did.

He's very happy as a vividian, calling it "the role of a lifetime."
