Peter came to vivid after spending many years doing technical support for a large photo finishing company. His troubleshooting skills were honed keeping aging hardware alive in a corrosive environment, with high voltages thrown in for fun. After one too many experiences trying to dodge spraying chemistry, Peter saw the light and decided to take a job in Web design might be healthier. In 1996, Peter joined BAS Design, an East Bay Web design firm before eventually landing here at vivid.

Peter grew up in the Napa Valley, went to UC San Diego to study history and physics, and after graduation found himself in New Orleans, where he acquired a taste for bourbon, shrimp po-boys, and all things musical.

In addition to being an all-around nice guy, Peter is a licensed commercial pilot, motorcyclist, and avid sailor of racing catamarans.
